If you need to disable errors in the instrument cluster such as Radar, Blind Spot, LDA, PCS, BSM, AFS, etc., perform a reset using a J2534 adapter via OBD or on the bench.

Before performing the reset, make sure to physically disconnect the radar connector. After the reset, the error will not appear until it is connected again.

Work procedure:

Check the sensor and steering angle using a J2534 adapter

If “Crash” is displayed, the sensor is functional, but it is currently in a crash state.

Connect the Orange5 programmer to the processor and click the “Restore MCU” button. After that, your sensor will be fully restored.

During the recovery process, a dump is read from the processor and saved in encrypted form to the Backup folder as a precaution.

Next, the dump is automatically restored and written back to the processor.

Check the sensor operation again using a J2534 adapter by setting the angle to 0 degrees.
